The Endowment fund at the service of the public interest
“The purpose of the “Endowment fund” is to promote and implement public interest projects to animate and/or improve and/or restore the Palace of the Popes and the Pont Saint Benezet in particular in the cultural, artistic, architectural and landscaping fields. For this purpose, the endowment fund develops its own actions and/or participates in the financing of the cultural, artistic, heritage and landscaping structures and projects whose purpose it is to further the public interest missions”
The Endowment fund was published in the Journal Officiel on 22 December 2012, and is chaired by its founder in the person of the Director of Avignon Tourisme. It is administered by a treasurer and a secretary. The appointed Delegate acts as the general manager for the administrative, financial and technical administration of the Endowment fund.
Corporate philanthropy is eligible for a tax reduction of 60 % of their gifts within the limit of 0.5 % of their turnover.
